Housing & Supported Living Services

Birmingham Rathbone supports individuals with learning disabilities/difficulties according to their individual needs to live as independently as possible in the community.  We help clients to build their self-confidence and empower them to make informed choices and decisions about the way they wish to live.

In support of this we provide an Information, Advice and Guidance service to all clients delivered by fully qualified and experienced staff.  This service meets the national Matrix IAG Standards.

Birmingham Rathbone’s services are provided in partnership with Birmingham City Council’s Supporting People Team, the Care Quality Commission, Social Care and Health and Housing Associations in Birmingham.  We provide a variety of accommodation across the city and can also provide support to people living in their own homes or tenancies.

All those applying to access our services are invited to complete a referral form.  This will assist us to undertake an accurate and comprehensive needs assessment to ensure we provide the appropriate person-centred support/care for each individual.  Information, Advice and Guidance is delivered at this stage and continuously throughout the client’s support/care.
