Work Choice

The Work Choice programme supports disabled people who would like to find work, or to stay in work and is delivered by Birmingham Rathbone’s Supported Employment team in partnership with Advance Employment.

It also helps employers to get the support that they need to employ people who have difficulty getting a job.

If you are looking for work

Work Choice will give you advice and support to get ready for work.

• We will help you get the training and skills you need
• We will help you explore which jobs are right for you
• We will help you if you have any barriers to getting a job
• We will help you by encouraging employers to offer jobs to more people who need extra support at work.

If you are already in work

Work Choice will give you advice and support to stay in work.

• We will help you if you have any barriers to progressing in your job
• We will help you to develop your career in work
• We will keep on checking that the support we give you is what you need.
